Ireland/Scotland 2027

Day 1: Monday, July 19, 2027

  • Independent arrival in Lincoln

  • 10:00am registration at Cornhusker Marriott in beautiful downtown Lincoln, NE for registration

  • 11am, first music rehearsal

  • Independent lunch

  • afternoon and evening sectionals and rehearsals

  • Independent dinner

  • Overnight at the Cornhusker Marriott

Day 2: Tuesday, July 20
  • TBA continental breakfast at hotel

  • Bus to Omaha airport for international flight to Dublin

  • Lunch, dinner, overnight, breakfast aboard transatlantic flight

Day 3: Wednesday, July 21
  • Arrive in Dublin time TBA

  • Welcome to Ireland!!

  • Possible walk in Performance TBA

  • Dinner in pub, Free time, overnight Dublin

  • Explore and dine in Temple bar

  • Temple Bar is a busy riverside neighbourhood, spread over cobbled pedestrian lanes. Including many pubs, Diners, and Quirky boutiques stock clothes and crafts by local designers.

  • Capping off our time in Dublin with a Riverdance Performance

Day 4: Thursday, July 22
  • Breakfast at Hotel and load buses for Waterford

  • Tour Waterford Crystal Facility

  • Waterford, is the country’s oldest city. It was founded by Vikings in 914 A.D. and parts of its ancient walled core remain. Visit Reginald’s Tower, a circa-1003 fortification, the Waterford Museum of Treasures displays local archaeological finds. Famed glass manufacturer Waterford Crystal began here in 1783. .

  • Afternoon stop at Midelton Distillery for a bit of Jameson Whiskey Tasting.

  • Off to Cobh, city of Titanic's last port of call in 1912. Visit to the Titanic Experience in former White Star Line Ticket office.

  • Overnight and dinner in Cork.

Day 5: Friday, July 23
  • Breakfast at hotel

  • Board bus for Rock Cashel, an Irish Historical site located dramatically above a plain at Cashel County Tipperary, Ireland.

  • Sing at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Limerick; see King Johns Castle

  • Load bus for Cliffs of Moher scenic site

  • Load bus for Galway, a harbor city on Ireland’s west coast, sits where the River Corrib meets the Atlantic Ocean. The city’s hub is 18th-century Eyre Square,  surrounded by shops and traditional pubs that often offer live Irish folk music. Nearby, stone-clad cafes, boutiques and art galleries which retain portions of the medieval city walls. 

Day 6: Saturday, July 24
  • Breakfast in hotel, Depart for Athlone to tour the castle.

  • Moving on to Mulligar.

  • Possible Perfomance in Cathedral Christ the King

  • Lunch and explore Mullingar

  • Arrive in Dundalk

  • Dinner and Overnight

Day 7: Sunday, July 25
  • Breakfast in Dundalk Hotel, board bus for Belfast

  • Arrive in Belfast

  • Tour Titanic Museum 

  • Ride ferry from Belfast to Cairnryan

  • Dinner in Prestwick, UK

Day 8: Monday, July 26
  • Depart Prestwick

  • Sing at Church of the Holy Rude

  • Tour Stirling Castle (there is a cafe in the Castle courtyard for light food)

  • Arrive in Pitlochory one of our favorite Scottish burghs Beautiful to explore, shop and enjoy! 

Day 9: Tuesday, July 27
  • After Breakfast depart for Ft. William to Board the Jacobite Steam Train that takes you on a journey to Mallaig (train made famous in Harry Potter movies),

  • Explore Mallaig

  • Board train back to Ft William

  • Explore Ft William

  • Enjoy the scenic drive along Loch Ness

  • Arrive in Inverness for Dinner and Overnight

Day 10: Wednesday, July 28
  • Breakfast and morning to explore Inverness and Possible Performance

  • Load bus for Balmoral Castle

  • Visit Castle and distillery tasting of Royal goodies

  • Overnight and dinner in Perth

Day 11: Thursday, July 29
  • Breakfast in Perth

  • Visit the Kelpies

  • Linlithgow Palace, birth place of Mary Queen of Scots

  • Sing in St. Michael’s in Linlithgow

  • Blackness Castle

  • Rosslyn Chapel - end of Da Vinci Code

  • On to Edinburgh for dinner/free time

Day 12: Friday, July 30
  • Breakfast in Edinburgh

  • Possible performance in St. Giles Cathedral (the King's Church)

  • Meet for High Tea

  • Unique whiskey tasting

  • Dinner at Scotsman Hotel, authentic Scottish meal

  • Overnight Edinburgh

Day 13: Saturday, July 31
  • Depart for Belfast

  • Dinner and free time

  • Repack luggage for international flight

  • Overnight Belfast

Day 14: Sunday, August 1
  • Depart for Dublin International  Airport for return to USA.

  • Arrive later that day to Omaha, NE.
